Project Overview:

Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.

 

Job Summary:

Provides work process and systems expertise, advice, and direction for materials management planning activities during the front-end stage of the project. Participates in development and execution of plans involving automated and manual Material Management systems. Develops project workhour estimates and monitors against approved budgets. Assists in establishing long-range personnel objectives and in developing personnel. Provides materials planning support to project functional groups. #LI-CS1

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”

Major Responsibilities:

• Supervises a team of materials planning personnel. Conducts annual performance reviews and recommends salary actions, classification changes, terminations, and transfers.
• Provides input for developing project workhour estimates for the Materials Planning function. Monitors project work and the expenditure of work hours within approved budgets.
• Indoctrinates newly assigned Materials Planners to the requirements and procedures of the global business unit, project, and Customer. Monitors personnel to ensure they receive appropriate training and development to satisfy job performance criteria and company personnel development objectives.
• Assists the Project Procurement Manager in establishing long-range personnel objectives and in developing personnel to fill materials management requirements.
• Finalizes the Materials Management Plan and reports changes to the Plan, helps resolve deviations from the Plan, and obtains approval during the execution of the project.
• Finalizes the Material Responsibility Matrix and coordinates deviations or changes required to it and to the affected parties on the proje
