We're seeking an experienced marketing operations professional to be the bridge between Marketing and IT. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the maximum utilization of our marketing technology stack by developing strategies, implementing best practices, and collaborating with teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and IT, acting as the single point of contact to consolidate and prioritize all IT requests originating from the Marketing department
- Collaborate closely with Marketing teams and enable proactive alignment and prioritization of Martech platform initiatives on a quarterly basis to manage their plans and expectations
- Spearhead the strategic direction and architectural framework for diverse Martech platforms, encompassing Chat, webinar, direct mail, microsite as well as be the primary liaison to managing the Marketo and integration into the components of the Adobe Experience Platform such as Target and Customer Data Platform (CDP), along with Iterable
- Champion customer advocacy initiatives within the Martech landscape, ensuring that customer-centric perspectives are integral to platform strategies and implementations
- Oversee the accurate capture and seamless flow of data within Martech platforms, guaranteeing data integrity and optimizing data-driven decision-making processes
- Drive the formulation and execution of a visionary roadmap for Martech, taking charge of product management, feature releases, and enhancement capabilities
- Lead the annual IT Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, aligning Martech strategies and initiatives with broader organizational goals and budgetary considerations
- Engage with diverse stakeholders including Marketing, IT, Engineering, and other relevant departments to foster collaborative Martech strategies and implementations
- Proactively drive the utilization of intake solutions and ticket management (ie: Jira), enhancing operational efficiency and streamlining workflows within the Martech ecosystem
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing operations and/or marketing technology, with a strong focus on tools such as Chatbot (Drift/Qualified), Webinar, Direct Mail, microsites, and other demand gen focused technology
- Must have extensive experience with Marketo and previously owned and administered Marketo
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical executive stakeholders
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, partnering with stakeholders from various departments such as marketing, engineering, and IT
- A commitment to staying current with the latest trends and best practices in marketing technology
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $167,000 - $204,000
- For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $171,000 - $209,000
- For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $179,000 - $219,000
