Position Summary
Deloitte Services LP seeks a Senior Manager, Solution Architecture in Houston, Texas.
Work You’ll Do
Provide architecture design leadership for various lines of business and enterprise applications for custom web solutions and 3rd party vendor products. Responsible for web application architecture, service architecture, and technical design for high performance and scalability in a distributed, multi-tier and cross-platform mobile environment. Architect and deploy mobile, web, and web-enabled business applications. Code, deploy distributed architectures and platforms, create benchmark tests, design for scalability and performance; and implement large-scale vendor systems. Will commute within the Houston, Texas area to perform the above job duties.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
- Four (4) years as Senior Manager, Solution Architecture or related occupation gaining experience conducting design and architectural assessments.
- Experience must include four years of:
- Designing, analyzing, developing and delivering web, desktop and mobile based systems in the cloud;
- Spearheading the strategy for building and maintaining the development platform, including modeling, design, and coding practices;
- Monitoring architecture and design creation processes and reviewing project artifacts;
- Designing and implementing off-premise public cloud, including Azure environments and architectures and operational models, including developing cloud-ready solutions;
- Developing strategy vision and looking forward on issues related to architecture;
- Utilizing C#, SQL, and Web front end technologies and utilizing PowerBI and Azure;
- Creating technical blueprints and data models for each business use case/scenario;
- Preparing large enterprise system development cost estimates and budgets; and
- Mentoring, coaching, and training junior team members and providing feedback.
- Less than 10% domestic travel outside normal commuting distance.
