About the role

This role leads the Zillow Rentals Sales Operations team, focusing on strategic and analytical problem-solving. Responsibilities include being responsible for sales enablement, sales programs, sales operations, and enhancing team efficiency. As a key liaison with the sales head and cross-functional partners, this role is crucial in implementing our strategic vision. The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will guide a team in project management, sales enablement, and implementing key sales initiatives. Collaboration with business partners in product, operations, marketing, and talent development is critical to define GTM strategies and assess their success. The role, requiring a deep understanding of sales needs, reports to the Vice President of the Rentals Sales division.

Responsibilities include:

Sales Operations Leadership:

  • Supervise the Sales Operations team, focusing on optimizing sales processes, tools, enablement, training, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales operations with overall business goals.
  • Manage the development and implementation of sales technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance analyses to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic changes.
  • Mentor and develop a team of sales operations professionals and program managers.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Sales Program Management:

  • Design and lead sales programs, ensuring they align with company objectives and sales targets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to effectively launch and manage sales initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team in understanding and executing sales programs.

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

  • Partner with the head of sales to develop and refine sales strategies and approaches.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on sales operations and program performance to leadership.
  • Identify trends and insights from data to inform decision-making and strategy formulation.

Process Optimization and Efficiency:

  • Implement and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure seamless integration of sales tools and technologies with daily operations.
  • Lead efforts in streamlining CRM systems and other sales platforms for optimal performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, product, and other departments to ensure cohesive efforts.
  • Gather feedback from sales teams to inform the development of new strategies and programs.
  • Drive change management initiatives across the sales organization to adopt new processes and tools.

Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $136,300.00 - $217,700.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
