Job Description:

 

Come join our Baker Tilly Muncipal Advisory team as a Senior Manager! This Senior Manager role includes advanced management work across the spectrum of governmental services across Michigan and potentially nationwide. This would include but not be limited to capital project finance, construction monitoring assistance, and water and wastewater utility rate studies.   

• Project management and implementation 
• Daily interaction with clients and project partners; overall project and client management 
• Research; document writing
• Small and large group meeting facilitation; and grant and incentives program strategy, preparation and management 
• Develop public sector skills and firm knowledge; train team members and mentor 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance. MBA/MPA desirable, not required. 
• Minimum of 8-10 years of full-time related job experience.
• Ability to multi-task, work well independently in a fast-paced environment and be highly self-motivated. 
• Advanced knowledge and skills in the principles and practice of government administration; project finance and construction monitoring
• Must have well public presentation and facilitation skills.
• Must have well written communication skills. 
• Motivation to work extended hours as needed which can include night meetings.
• Mentoring skills; ability to lead and direct overall workflow.
