Senior Manager, Planning

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or Logistics degree, other degrees will be considered with relevant experience
• 8 plus years of leadership experience
• Experience as a senior manufacturing or MRO leader
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Experience leading a team and making impacts at scale
• Experience managing by influence in a matrix organization

Responsibilities

A key member of the leadership team, The Planning and Production Control Manager oversees analytics, planning, industrial engineering and scheduling functions to organize production according to demand and quality standards. This team leader will develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.

*  Determine material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues

*  Support large military and commercial aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Modification Services, in accordance with the work scope and company, FAA, EASA procedures

*  Conduct labor forecasting to determine where, when and what kind, and how many employees are needed to meet predicted customer demand

*  Enable the enterprise to set priorities of work based on forecast

*  Manage plan data governance across the enterprise

*  Prepare the production planning boards, communicating with internal production and support organizations to manage the plan in an efficient, effective and customer centric manner

*  Monitor task execution man hours and report in a timely manner to Leads and Managers any potential threats leading to delays that will negatively impact project profitability

*  Lead, coach and mentor direct reports and their subordinates to consistently deliver excellence in their undertaking as individuals and team players

*  Strive for continuous process improvements while ensuring compliance to FAA, safety OSHA, legal and established corporate procedures, checks and balances
