About the role

Role summary

Reporting to the Director, U.S. I&I Field Enablement Team Lead, the Senior Manager, GI Field Enablement leads strategic and operational initiatives that strengthen the effectiveness of the U.S. GI Sales and Marketing organization. The role can be based at any U.S. Pfizer site or worked virtually.

As a trusted operational partner to the U.S. I&I leadership team, the Senior Manager simplifies how work gets done, accelerates execution in the field, and equips customer-facing colleagues — including Area Business Managers (ABMs) with the tools, processes, and insights they need to deliver results. In 2026 and beyond, the role places particular emphasis on digital and AI-enabled ways of working that increase speed, consistency, and impact.

What you’ll do

  • Lead strategic and operational projects across U.S. I&I — spanning launch and in-line brand field-force execution, training, incentive compensation, and deployment planning (e.g., resource development, process improvements, platform/application releases, I&I communications, operating plan and the National DOE network).
  • Advance organizational effectiveness in the selling environment and across U.S. GI customers, including leading enterprise initiatives such as Control Tower.
  • Serve as operational lead and thought partner and central point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Regional Business Directors, IIS, Incentive Compensation, CFCD Ops, and Marketing), ensuring clear communication and strong alignment both horizontally and vertically.
  • Identify, prioritize, track, and resolve operational needs from across the I&I business; partner with ISI, BAI, Digital, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and contract sales organizations to resolve issues quickly, and manage routine tasks (e.g., data inquiries, Pfizer Align updates, customer alignment) with speed and precision.
  • Lead cross-functional meeting planning and execution for key meetings — including POAs, leadership meetings, and leadership training — in collaboration with customer-facing teams, brand marketing, and training, owning agendas and logistics end to end.
  • Champion AI-enabled and digital ways of working (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and approved generative-AI tools) to streamline processes and lift field productivity.
  • Manage I&I and cross-BU communications and the DOE network in partnership with Operational Excellence leads, ensuring clarity, consistency, and simplicity.
  • Partner with the SC CEP Field Enablement Team to share best practices that foster efficiency and productivity.
  • Proactively surface innovative solutions that simplify processes and free customer-facing colleagues to focus on customers.
