Overview
This position will lead the corporate reporting function and work very closely with FP&A within the corporate finance team including development and maintenance of planning models (Oracle EPBCS & Excel), creation of monthly reporting package, and provide insightful analysis of monthly results. Understands key drivers and coordinates input from internal business partners. This position will also work closely with accounting as well as internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Operations, etc.). This is a very hands-on role and will require extensive interaction with internal customers and financial operations team to deliver meaningful forecasts and variance analysis.
Direct/Manage/Supervise the organization's fiscal activities and reporting. Lead financial planning including short-term forecasting, yearly planning, and assist with long-range modeling. Conduct pro-forma financial analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis. Develop and execute cost controls. Implement process improvement initiatives. Manage the activities of first-level managers and/or supervisors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Broad knowledge of the field with proven leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in budgeting, forecasting, variance analyses and related reports
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual forecast and reports for management, as well as prepare financial reporting and analysis required to support internal customers and ensure accuracy.
- Develop executive level presentations
- Establish goals and objectives which are aligned to the group and Company goals and objectives
- Other duties may be assigned based on experience, skill set and business needs
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- BA/BS in accounting, finance, business or related discipline is required
- 8-10 years of related work experience
- Experience working in a fast pace/high growth environment where they have shown an ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a given time.
Functional/Technical Skills:
- Required:
- Strong analytical and financial planning skills
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
- Experience with a large, automated accounting /Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Extensive experience working within the functional departments/cost centers of a Company
- Extensive experience in the high technology industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
- Strong experience utilizing a data warehousing tool
- Nice to Have:
- Oracle financial skills and/or in-depth knowledge of similar financial systems
- Experience working for a global, multi-national organization
