This position will report to our Engineering Pillar Leaders and can be based remotely from anywhere within the United States where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

You Will:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers.
- Create strong partnership with product management and other essential areas of the business
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the Portfolios and Analytics team.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
- Develop and execute a technical strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives for Portfolios and Analytics.
- Analyze feature sets for market effectiveness: promote appropriate feedback and discussions with Product and Design
- Guide and mentor team members regarding architecture and best practices
- Analyze feature sets for implementation efficiency and performance: facilitates feedback and discussions with Product and Design
- Actively participate in recruiting
You Have:
- 10+ years software development experience
- 4+ years previous management experience
- Experience building scalable, high available customer-facing cloud applications
- Experience building or managing full stack teams
- Experience building a holistic Product/Engineering Roadmap
- Experience building teams including, recruiting and retention
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- AWS or other Cloud experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $210,600 to $286,200 | All other US States: $195,000 to $265,000
