If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.</p> </div> </section> </div> </section></div><h3>The Role</h3> <p>As the Senior Manager, Data Engineering at Farther, you will own the data platform powering a modern, technology-driven wealth management firm — the security master, custodial pipelines, and canonical financial models every downstream system depends on.</p> <p>The platform is already in production. Your mandate is to take it much further: define the roadmap, own it end-to-end, and execute — growing the team and expanding what the platform makes possible across the firm, including the AI systems built on top of it.</p> <h3>Your Impact</h3> <ul> <li>Own and execute the data platform roadmap — from custodial ingestion through the security master to AI-ready data products</li> <li>Lead and grow the data engineering team, setting the bar for technical quality</li> <li>Own the firm's security master: reference data, corporate actions, and golden-source resolution across vendors</li> <li>Design canonical models unifying accounts, positions, and transactions across Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and other custodians</li> <li>Drive data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and governance across regulated datasets</li> </ul> <h3>The Ideal Match</h3> <ul> <li>8+ years in data platform roles, with 4+ years managing data teams</li> <li>Deep security master experience — instrument reference data, corporate actions, multi-vendor golden-source resolution</li> <li>Prior experience on the data team at a broker/dealer</li> <li>Exceptional data modeling skills — schemas that are correct, extensible, and built to last</li> <li>Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, AWS, an
