Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Manager - Competitive & Market Intelligence in Chennai/Pune/Coimbatore.

What a typical day looks like:

• Conduct deep & continuous competitive research & analysis, delivering accurate, timely, contextual, & strategic insights as a Subject Matter Expert
• Build & update competitive/market assessments and that support strategic planning efforts and go-to-market strategies.
• Review quarterly and annual reports, press releases, and investor calls of competing firms to obtain strategic insight
• Compile and analyze industry and competitor/company specific information and financial statements to gain insights into latest trends and movements
• Develop competitive intelligence library inclusive of battle cards for competitors
• Work with industry research partners and experts & cross functional leaders to enhance the depth of market and competitive knowledge
• Analyze companies from a financial, enterprise value, operational, and industry perspective, competitive benchmarking, M&A due diligence
• Lead & drive key initiatives/deliverables with Business Unit (BU) leaders on strategic initiatives, and at times may need to provide support to CSO office
• Contribute and enhance content development around topic/sector for key internal deliverables, meetings & trainings
• Communicate and present findings (written and verbal) to strategy stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a timely manner
• Team-up and collaborate with the global teams/cross functional stakeholders to support the competitive assessment/ strategy related agenda
• Closely manage projects from inception to completion ensuring they remain within scope, budget, and desired timing.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 8+ years of relevant experience required (Competitive Intelligence/ Consulting/ Financial research)
• Excellent business writing skills
• Strong English oral communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred from a reputed institute
• Synthesize and communicate coherent strategic insights from sparse and non-uniform data sets
• Ability to build & maintain a strong network
• Ability to provide analytical insights
• Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects/deliverables to successful completion
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, cross functional, global organization
• Partner with team members to continually learn and inspire others in the spirit of continuous improvement.
