What We Need

As a Senior Manager - Communications Planning at 2K, you will help drive the development of audience-first campaign strategies that align with business goals. Reporting to the Communications Planning Director, you will play a key role in executing strategic frameworks, developing creative briefs, and ensuring that creative and media teams have the insights and direction needed to build impactful campaigns. This role requires a balance of analytical thinking and creative inspiration, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

You will work closely with internal teams—including Creative and Player Services (CAPS), Business Units (BUs), Insights, and Marketing Technology—to craft holistic communication strategies. As a core member of the team, you will support the refinement of processes, champion audience insights, and help bring best-in-class strategic thinking to our marketing efforts.

This is a global role that involves collaboration with regional teams across time zones to ensure communication plans can work across diverse markets.

What You Will Do

Strategy & Audience Insights

  • Support the development of integrated communications strategies that align creative and media efforts with business objectives.

  • Synthesize audience research using syndicated tools and first-party data to extract insights and inform campaign development.

  • Assist in crafting concise, actionable creative briefs that translate strategy into compelling creative direction.

  • Stay updated on emerging media trends, competitor strategies, and player behaviors to refine communication plans.

  • Help ensure creative and media strategies are aligned for maximum engagement and effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with creative teams, providing them with audience insights, messaging direction, and strategic support.

  • Collaborate with media teams to ensure creative assets are developed in alignment with channel strategies and spend levels.

  • Partner with Insights and Marketing Technology teams to refine measurement frameworks and optimize campaign effectiveness.

  • Maintain relationships with marketing teams across the organization, ensuring seamless integration of communication strategies.

  • Act as a key point of contact for BUs, helping to align campaign requests with strategic goals.

Storytelling & Thought Leadership

  • Assist in crafting persuasive narratives and presentations that communicate complex strategies in a clear, compelling way.

  • Support senior leadership in advocating for audience-first, insight-driven marketing approaches.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the Communications Planning discipline, helping refine best practices and ways of working.
