The senior manager of compensation communications is a part of Walmart’s world-class People Communications team and specializes in Total Rewards storytelling that drives associate awareness and engagement, while strengthening and growing Walmart’s reputation as a top employer.

The Total Rewards Communications team is dedicated to shaping and sharing the company’s Total Rewards story – from comprehensive benefits and robust wellbeing resources to competitive pay and performance-based rewards. This team is responsible for crafting clear, compelling narratives that help associates understand and unlock the full value of their Walmart Total Rewards. By connecting associates to the resources and rewards that matter most, they deliver on Walmart’s commitment to helping associates and their families live better.

What you’ll do:

• Tell Walmart’s Total Rewards story in new and different ways: Unearth and develop compelling narratives, strategies, and tactics that showcase Walmart as a people-led, tech-powered company that’s focused on helping our associates live better.
• Write with Clarity and Purpose: Develop messages that resonate with key audiences; make complex subjects easily understood and actionable.
• Collaborate Masterfully: Partner with and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business in the development, execution, and evaluation of communication plans.
• Be an Organizational Master: Independently keep multiple projects moving forward and on deadline.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, informing improved communication and processes.

What you’ll bring:

• You’re an engaging storyteller, creative thinker and visionary with strong writing skills.
• You have previous experience in crafting frontline communications, ideally in Total Rewards.
• You enjoy the challenge of translating complicated topics into understandable content.
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining high quality standards.
• You enjoy trying new things and can flex in a fast-paced environment.
