The Role
The Sr Lead Solution Architect role will work in partnership with the Business Units, leading innovative conversations that help shape the growth of our business. The successful Solution Architect must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and communication skills, including business acumen, to understand business requirements, develop a technical architecture, and effectively present solutions that address our business partner’s requirements and provide business value.

The Main Responsibilities
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Design end-to-end solutions leveraging cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) that meet business and technical requirements.
- Develop architecture blueprints, technical designs, and implementation plans for complex systems.
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Cloud Platform Expertise:
- Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using Azure, AWS, or GCP services.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments.
Messaging Systems Integration:
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using messaging systems like Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar.
- Ensure seamless integration of messaging systems with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
- Configure and optimize messaging systems for high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance.
Enterprise Architecture guidelines:
- Apply enterprise architecture frameworks to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
- Define and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and future-proof
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent education and experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a master’s degree.
- Experience in developing IT solutions including Telecommunications B/OSS system architecture, operations, infrastructure/database architecture, and/or applications development.
- Ability to lead & engage in technical workshops, and solution discussions with Business and IT Stakeholders. Strong listening, reasoning, and objection handling skills.
- Ability to methodically understand and resolve complex issues. Must demonstrate the ability to focus ambiguous business needs into specific, deliverable requirements. Must demonstrate creative solution development.
- Ability to work independently, or as part of a team to build complex customer solutions.
- Must be able to build strong team relationships and easily transfer technical information.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be very detail-oriented and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy. Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities. Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
