We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Auditor to lead and support fraud investigations across the organization. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing relevant information, conducting interviews with employees and external parties, identifying control deficiencies, and recommending remediation actions. Prepare clear, concise reports that summarize findings, conclusions, and proposed control improvements for management. About the Role
- Lead and conduct complex fraud investigations, including planning, fieldwork, interviews, and reporting.
- Utilize data analytics and technology tools to detect anomalies and support investigative efforts.
- Drive process transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in fraud risk management.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented investigation reports for senior leadership.
- Stay current on emerging fraud trends, tools, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Support internal audit projects and audits as needed, particularly those with fraud risk components.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, fraud investigations, or forensic accounting.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., CFE, CPA, CIA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI, Excel) or a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience in using artificial intelligence (AI) tools
Desired Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Experience with process improvement of transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and audit management software.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access) required.
