ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Installer to join our team in Norfolk, VA.  This position is onsite.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform required installation of various equipment types, communication equipment, racks, cabling, cable management, and other installs as required

• Work alongside engineers to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problems

• Analyze operations and offer suggestions for improvement

• Perform work between customer sites, shore sites, and/or on ships

• Work with Project Managers and provide recommendations on most efficient ways to accomplish installs

• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed up to 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of relevant experience in related field

• Technical experience with AC/DC circuits

• Knowledge and understanding of test equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Optical analyzers, power meters, bench power supplies, multimeters, etc.

• Knowledge and understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) services at both Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence

• NAVSEA Certified in Fiber Optic Termination

• AutoCAD Drafting experience

Clearance Requirements:

• US Citizenship required and an Active Secret clearance to start

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 Lbs

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50%

• Be able to ascend and descend ladders as required for installations

• Must be able to position oneself to install communications systems, server racks, or potentially running transmission lines as required.
