Job Description

The Sports + Entertainment Senior Human Resources Manager for the Washington D.C. district will provide vital support to the District Managers, General Managers and Department Heads across their prescribed venues and will ensure that the team provide strong support and advice to the operations and functional teams. The Sr. HR Manager is responsible for providing HR support to the venue, managers and employees regarding HR policies and practices, recruitment, staffing, onboarding, researching and/or investigating concerns, and making recommendations that promote positive employee relations.  This position supports food and beverage and operations managers and front line associates in major sports and entertainment venues in the Washington D.C. COMPENSATION: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000,  this is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Human Resources Manager with functions related to hourly employee recruitment, staffing,employee records/retention, employee onboarding, event day employee check in, employee engagement.
  • Provide consultation to managers on policies and compliance regarding employment-related matters.
  • Interact with internal (COs, Field HR) and external resources (vendors) to acquire needed information to leadwork to completion.
  • Support the Human Resources Manager with functions related to hourly employee recruitment, staffing,employee records/retention, employee onboarding, event day employee check in, employee engagement.
  • Review dashboard metrics daily to optimize efficiency and ensure work is completed in accordance with servicelevel agreements (SLAs)
  • Assist the Human Resources Manager and operational managers with the full cycle recruiting process
  • Partners with operations to develop and execute a proactive staffing plan. This includes partnering withcorporate TA and others to ensure accurate job postings, consistent hiring events and partnerships withcontingent staffing vendors.
  • Manages year round and high volume applicant tracking from interview to hire
  • Leads positive employee relations efforts.
  • Conducts annual review of compensation plans for all hourly employees.
  • Executes staffing and on-boarding processes for hourly and salary (managers, professionals and technicians)positions.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate/district level policies and federal/state governmental agencies.
  • Communicates benefits, policy and other HR related changes.
  • Trains and coaches management/supervisory staff in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, counseling,diversity, disciplinary and regulatory compliance.
  • Participates with HR Team and others on corporate level projects.
  • Manages and reports required HR business metrics (diversity, area labor market info, etc.).
  • Maintains accurate information in electronic and paper employee records.
  • Leads resolution of employee relations' issues and conducts investigations as necessary.
  • Initiate and process progressive disciplinary actions for all departments.
  • Conduct/facilitate and assist with training of hourly employees: New Hire Orientation, TEAM, HACCP, ServSafe,FOCUS, and On the Job Training.
  • Attend building safety meetings and Aramark safety meetings;
  • Track training and hourly paperwork; maintain
