As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring our employees thrive and contribute to our mission to deliver best-in-class support and solutions to our Nation’s Warfighters and First Responders. The ideal candidate will be a leader in the organization managing direct reports, recruiting resources, compensation model and initiatives, professional development and employee engagement programs in the GovCon space.

Location: This position is fully remote.
Job Description:
- Manages the recruiting program to allocate and coordinate resources, track status, and ensure compliance.
- Develops, maintains, and ensures compliance for all D&G HR policies and procedures.
- Understand and lead compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices including OFCCP compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Evaluates and updates compensation model and internal labor categories.
- Drives performance evaluation and employee engagement programs.
Required Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum Experience: 8-10 years strategic Human Resource experience in GovCon managing areas of compensation, performance management, recruiting, and leadership development.
- Experience working directly with company executives and senior managers solve problems and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Paycor.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Certifications: SHRM-CP
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Experience as a recruiting manager for GovCon company.
- Experience working in a small or mid-size GovCon company.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: Occasion travel for company events, planning meetings, and training/engagements.
