This position is with the CareTracker product team within Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. CareTracker is a web-based point of care solution that enables caregivers to quickly capture their daily documentation through efficient workflows and simplistic UX design. It is currently used in a variety of settings including, but not limited to Behavioral Health, Long Term Care, and Rehab.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong full stack web development background that also has experience deploying and troubleshooting within a cloud environment. The application is currently hosted in AWS with plans to migrate to OCI soon. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with a team of software engineers responsible for the software design, development, and operations for new and existing products. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute anywhere within our tech stack and will have an eye for clean coding best practices as well. We collaborate frequently through backlog grooming sessions, sprint/quarterly planning, and example mapping sessions, offering a safe place where engineers are free to speak up with new and exciting ideas, without being afraid to take risks and learn from their mistakes. You should value this type of collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Our senior engineers are people who can work independently and provide technical leadership to the organization. You should have solid experience developing web applications on a variety of platforms and browsers. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements. You will understand operational excellence and know how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team. You will also recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with the team.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship on U.S. soil is required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
- 5+ years of total experience with software development with 2+ years on the cloud back-end
- React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, C#, dotnet, Kubernetes, Docker
- Prior Hands-on experience developing cloud services and tools on Oracle Cloud OR AWS
- Experience in working CI/CD pipeline with setting up build and deployment pipelines
- Solid experience with SQL and/or MySQL
- Strong experience with Github
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive responsibilities listed in the job description

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
