Job Description

Position Summary

You’ll join the Xplor Pay .NET Team which provides a full stack payment processing and acquiring platform to integrators, partners, and merchants. Whether small and independent or large franchises, we build services that customers can rely on. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, working with Product Owners, Business Analysts and others to help deliver and support the balancing functionality across our Merchant Onboarding system and APIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands on problem-solving attitude with the ability to generate ideas/solutions and adapt and learning new technologies on the job.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Refactor existing code, write unit tests and review other teammates code.
  • Diagnose problems and defects by collecting information, finding root causes, and fixing them.
  • Conduct peer reviews for other members of the development team, ensuring that project conventions are adhered to and that requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Participate in full-life cycle software development.
  • Review functional and technical documentation and improve where needed.
  • Have a keen eye for improvement in scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Involve and engage with other developers and other teams to motivate and connect with others.
  • Mentoring junior team members and guiding them towards raising their own software quality standards.
  • Estimate, plan and implement new features in collaboration with product and design.
  • Code based on standards and best practices provided by your team lead.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands on development using Microsoft .Net technologies including C# over Microsoft SQL data repositories, .Net core 2.0 framework and higher.
  • Experience with distributed system architecture environment.
  • Experience with Azure development is a plus
  • Previous experience working in merchant credit card processing systems.
  • Contribute to analysis of software projects including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain documentation for developed APIs.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM activities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals.
  • Professional and articulate communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a team where you manage your own time and priorities.
  • Motivated by a fast-paced environment where you will have to constantly adapt - no two days are the same!

The average base salary pay range for this role is $90,000 to $125,000
