Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend + Frontend)

The category is growing fast because AI doesn't work on bad data, and we're hiring a  Senior Full-Stack Engineer  to build the platform that catches data problems before they become business problems. About Us Soda's mission is to monitor the world's decisions. We're building the first Data & AI performance monitoring platform that spans data collection to automated decision-making. Soda helps customers find, understand, and fix data quality issues by combining automated post-production monitoring with pre-production pipeline data testing. Soda was founded in 2019 by Maarten (employee #5 at Collibra) and Tom (creator of multiple open-source projects generating hundreds of millions in value). We commercialize through Soda Cloud and we're well-funded, with investors like Point 9 Capital, Hummingbird, Singular, and Eurazeo. The Role You'll work across our entire stack: Java backend services and the TypeScript/Angular frontend that power Soda Cloud. We're product engineers, not ticket-takers: you'll own features end-to-end, talk to users, shape the design with your PM, and ship from database to UI without waiting for hand-offs. We also build agentically: AI coding agents are part of the daily workflow here, not an experiment on the side. What You'll Do Build features end-to-end: backend APIs, database changes, frontend UI, and ship them to production yourself. Design and implement backend services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Work with relational databases (MySQL): schema design, query optimization, data modeling. Build frontend features that are clean, fast, and don't get in the way. Optimize performance across the stack and write tests at every layer (unit, integration, e2e). Build agentic features into the product: LLM-powered workflows that help users find, understand, and fix data issues. Improve our systems for agentic development: agent instructions, skills, and the test feedback loops that make agents effective across the codebase. Work directly with product, design, and customers to decide what to build. Your opinion matters here.
