Senior Financial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Thompson Thrift, you will be instrumental in driving data-backed decisions for multifamily developments and acquisitions. This role involves complex financial modeling, performance analysis, and the creation of investor-ready financial packages to support the company’s long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models (e.g., IRR, waterfall models, pro formas).
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and KPIs to drive cost efficiency and strategy.
• Support lender/investor presentations and financing packages.
• Create reports for development pipelines, construction status, and performance metrics.
• Assist in hold/sale decisions and matrix modeling.
• Conduct financial reviews of pro formas for land acquisitions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning efforts.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and support special projects.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Accounting, or Finance).

Experience:
 

• Minimum 4 years of experience in real estate financial analysis; 1 year of real estate-specific experience preferred.

Skills:

• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
