Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in tax compliance and reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring adherence to all accounting principles, and preparing tax return. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Audits: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Advisory: Act as a resource for tax accounting-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and clients.
• Regulatory Updates: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, including income, sales, and property taxes.
• Tax Planning: Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.

Key Traits:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.

Job Contribution: An experienced professional with in-depth knowledge, applying organizational practices to resolve moderately difficult problems. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred. 2+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
