We’re seeking a motivated Finance Analyst, Program Cost Controls to strengthen program performance through accurate, high‑quality financial reporting and analysis. In this role, you will deepen your expertise across a broad range of financial and program control activities while partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

What You Will Do
- Partner with the Project Leadership Team (PLT) to develop cost and schedule plans for increasingly complex contracts and projects.
- Analyze and prepare reports to ensure projects remain within negotiated parameters and government cost-control requirements.
- Develop quarterly EACs; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
- Collaborate with PLT to analyze, prepare and input monthly sales, profit, and cash flow forecasts and 5- year Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Support balance sheet management by coordinating unbilled balances, investment reviews, program closeout actions, and related analyses.
- Manage Inter‑Organizational Transfers (IOTs) and Internal Work Authorizations (IWAs) across RTX businesses and multiple programs.
- Support proposals by providing historical actuals, reviewing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and completing compliance reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office tools, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar business system
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting and/or variance analysis
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in a high level of proficiency with Microsoft
- Excel functions (Pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Program Controls experience
- Experience working with and meeting critical deadlines and develop applied solutions and process improvements
- Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures
