KBR Wyle Services, LLC. is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and customer-focused Senior Facility Security Officer (FSO) – Lead Specialist to join our growing Security organization in Beavercreek, OH.
This position is a key leadership role responsible for managing and executing all aspects of the Industrial Security Program in support of Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on security professional with broad expertise across all disciplines of industrial security, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
The selected candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, interface directly with government agencies and customers, lead security initiatives and projects, and help shape and evolve enterprise security processes and best practices. This role requires sound judgment, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve complex security challenges while ensuring strict compliance with government and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Industrial Security Program for assigned facilities and programs, including:
- Personnel Security Physical Security Program Security Visitor Control Document Control Classified Material Management Access Control and Badging
- Ensure compliance with all applicable government and company security policies and procedures, including requirements established by DCSA, NSA, DoD, and other applicable agencies.
- Serve as the primary interface with government security representatives, customers, auditors, and internal leadership regarding security matters and compliance activities.
- Advise program managers, leadership teams, and employees on security requirements, risk mitigation, and best practices.
- Develop, implement, revise, and document security policies, procedures, and processes to support evolving business and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal self-inspections, security reviews, audits, and support customer security assessments and investigations.
- Investigate security incidents, violations, or discrepancies and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintain and administer facility security requirements including:Facility Clearances (FCL) Open Storage Areas Restricted Areas Security Education and Awareness Programs
- Prepare, review, and maintain DD254s for prime and subcontract activities.
- Maintain proficiency and operational knowledge of security systems and databases including:DISS NISS NBIS SWFT
- Conduct on boarding, indoctrinations, debriefings, and out-processing activities for cleared personnel.
- Maintain accurate security records, databases, filing systems, and reporting metrics.
- Lead or support security-related projects with moderate complexity, risk, and resource requirements while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Mentor junior security personnel and contribute to the growth and development of the broader security team.
- Protect classified information, controlled unclassified information (CUI), and company proprietary data in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of internal leadership, employees, customers, and government agencies.
