Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) is a division of Fidelity Investments, which provides investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. FFIO provides a wide range of asset servicing functions including proxy research, information and data services, pricing, cash management, accounting, relationship management, and global product services.
TEAM OVERVEIW:
The Business Enablement and Strategy team mission is to drive FFIO’s success as a trusted service provider by aligning strategically, delivering with expertise, and fostering strong partnerships—all with an unwavering focus on customer obsession. Our core functions include relationship management, custodian bank oversight, program management, business management, and strategy and planning, all working in concert to support FFIO’s long-term vision and operational excellence.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Senior Executive Assistant role is an integral member of the team. To be effective, the role will partner closely with BES leadership and associates at all team levels to develop a deep understanding of team needs and future goals and then support the execution of critical routines to further the relationship teams' brand and customer experience standards.
In addition, you will provide critical support to the team's Business Partner and Custodian Bank engagement model. Supporting this work involves creating and maintaining complex meetings involving internal and external parties and senior executives. It also requires regular data entry into our Salesforce application, coordinating complex onsite events, visitor pre-clearance, and other tasks. You will also support Business Enablement and Strategy leadership team members, working especially closely with the Director of Business Management in their role as Chief of Staff for the team. This includes supporting cross-team engagement models, strategic coordination efforts, supporting onboarding, offboarding, travel budget management and tracking, and other high-impact initiatives that drive alignment and operational excellence across the organization.
Within the BES Team, this role will report to the Essential Support Services Manager.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working within a large organization, being entrepreneurial and creative, and building new relationships and partnerships
- 5+ years of experience in the administrative and/or project management industry required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Shown success developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships internally with other executives and associates in a sophisticated organization
- Ability to understand and support business routines in CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Strong team orientation
- Experience partnering on cross-functional project teams to achieve a desired outcome
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently across a matrixed organization while supporting a key initiative
Experience supporting contract management or working within contract-driven environments is a plus.
