About the role:
We are searching for a highly adaptable, motivated, and execution-oriented Senior Executive Assistant. This EA will work directly with the VP of Account Development and the VP of Enablement and will be responsible for executing business-related administrative duties such as calendaring, travel, expenses, event planning, and ad hoc project management. The ideal candidate is self-directed, a fast learner capable of managing a varied workload from multiple inputs, and can prioritize the day-to-day against the bigger picture. This role requires occasional travel to support events.

In this role, you will:
- Be a representative of your executive, including meeting coordination, email correspondence, and liaising externally (customers, partners, C-level executives) and internally (other departments, key stakeholders)
- Manage and optimize multiple executive calendars
- Plan and book complex travel itineraries
- Manage all work-related expenses
- Assist in creating and managing agendas for departmental staff meetings
- Help organize and plan internal events (offsites, team-building, etc.)
- Anticipate and react to executive requests in an expedient manner
- General administrative duties and ad hoc requests as needed
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 12+ years of total work experience
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience supporting Sales or Revenue Operations.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, diplomacy, and emotional intelligence
- A strong sense of discretion around sensitive scenarios and confidential information
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience supporting executives in Revenue Operations, Account Development, or Enablement
Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
