In this highly visible role as a Senior Engineering Manager, Customer Growth and Engagement, you'll report directly to the Director of Engineering and lead the execution and growth of our engineering portfolio. Your impact will be profound, as you'll shape a product that is needed by tens of millions of people daily. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and nurture a world-class engineering leadership team, overseeing hiring, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and user needs.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies and policies to optimize team operations.
• Partner with product management to create an engineering roadmap that drives business objectives.
• Define, measure, and report on key performance indicators, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA/SOC2 standards for data security and privacy.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues that arise during development.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our products and services.

You will likely have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Manager of Managers, leading a team of other Engineering Managers. 
• Prior experience with customer portals and mobile applications.
• Prior experience supporting marketing analytics and driving user engagement and retention.
• Proven success implementing agile and continuous delivery principles.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer building scalable, mission-critical applications.
• Managed rapid scaling of engineering teams in a startup environment, including distributed remote teams.
• Established a strong culture of security and privacy within engineering teams and the company.
• Extensive experience with emerging and cloud-based technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred).
• Proficient in managing all aspects of development, including Frontend, Backend, QA, SRE, DevOps, etc.
• Strong technical skills, with knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills, including problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
