Job Description:

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time.  Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers.  Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.  Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines:  Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team, focusing on the US and FMS logistical activities necessary to support Patriot communications to include the integration and fielding of the Integrated Diagnostic Support System (IDSS) objective tools. Provide new equipment fielding support, technical support, and all logistical planning to support current and future Patriot communications systems or ancillary hardware and software that control and connect to Patriot communications subsystems. Provide technical and logistical support for the Dismounted Patriot Information Coordination Central (DPICC). Provide technical and logistical support for Patriot tactical communications subsystems to include Combined Crypto Modernization Phase-1 (CCMP-1), Maintenance Support Devices (MSDs), Communications Obsolescence Upgrade (COU). Ware machine Interface (WMI) upgrade and any Netted Exercise programs or Computer Automated Procedures (CAPS) to complete successful fielding’s.

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate with IFMC-GSE manager as needed and discuss work, travel planning, U.S. and FMS customer as needed.
  • Communicate with Raytheon key team members and update on customer needs and support requests to ensure proper resources are provided for mission success.
  • Maintain scheduled organizational training as needed or requested.
  • Perform Customer assigned actions or research as requested and record action items relating to IDSS working group meetings in support of the IDSS program and attend the Patriot Quarterly Maintenance reviews (QMR), and Army Modification Work Order MWOs. This includes support of US Government and FMS nation members.
  • Travel to customer sites CONUS and OCONUS and have in-depth discussion and analysis of customer support/training needs.
  • Provides support assistance for fielding of Computer Aided Procedures (CAPS), and Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to the Patriot ADA units to include hardware and software update, documentation, and training.
  • Provide Patriot communications support to include upgrade of equipment and remedial training and support of Patriot ADA Battalions networked communications exercises.
  • Provide support for Patriot system upgrades, Modification Work Orders (MWO), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) field modifications and procedural documentation as needed.
  • Work with the security organization and adhere to policies and procedures which guide your activities on and off-site.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with supporting Maintenance Work Orders (WMO)
  • Experience with Computer Aided Procedures and Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
  • Experience with Patriot supporting communications and the Integrated Diagnostic Support System (IDSS)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • CORE Apprentice or equivalent.
  • Prior field experience closely supporting customer operations and activities.
  • Prior instructor experience (classroom lecture, guided discussion
