As a Senior Engineer I - Controls, you will research, design, develop, and evaluate electrical and control equipment for heat exchange products. The incumbent will lead process development, engineering verification, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects align with organizational objectives, cost-effectiveness, and market demand. This role supports new product development, order fulfillment, and design improvements while advising leadership on product changes that impact profitability, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

1. Product Strategy & Development

• Participate in global product strategy and roadmap development for Controls.
• Research HVAC industry control offerings to position SPX as a market leader.
• Define and document customer requirements for new products and enhancements.

 

1. Control System Design & Implementation

• Design control panels incorporating VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and BMS for HVAC and refrigeration.
• Develop project plans and business cases for proposed product initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and marketing to develop customer-driven solutions.

 

1.   Market Analysis & Training

• Conduct competitive analysis to assess product positioning.
• Provide technical product training and disseminate product strategies across teams.
