The Rocket Motor Systems team is designing and commissioning automated equipment for high rate production of Solid Rocket Motors at our plant in McHenry, MS. In this role, you will own the electrical design and compliance that keeps facility and equipment power safe, documented, and ready to scale.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform electrical design and design review for production equipment and facility power at Anduril’s Solid Rocket Motor plant in McHenry, MS</li> <li>Apply and help maintain internal electrical standards, drawing conventions, and code compliance across the facility</li> <li>Review and red-line contractor and integrator electrical packages, including panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and load calculations</li> <li>Coordinate with facilities, construction, and outside engineering firms on power distribution, branch circuits, grounding, and equipment hookup</li> <li>Specify electrical equipment including transformers, disconnects, breakers, VFD feeds, and control power for new and modified production lines</li> <li>Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, and hazardous location requirements for energetic material handling areas</li> <li>Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical failures, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term reliability</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar</li> <li>4+ years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial or production environment</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices</li> <li>Experience with industrial
