About the role
Overview
Performs the duties of a cardiac Sonographer and expands proficiencies of modalities to include 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, 3-D LVEF Echocardiograms.
Assists with trans-esophageal echocardiograms, performs exercise stress and pharmacological stress echocardiograms and basic pediatric (congenital) echocardiograms. Provides training to cardiology fellows and other MD echo trainees and participates in defined areas of leadership within the department.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree from accredited cardiac ultrasound program with 3 years of experience/or RDCS-eligible background with 3 years of cardiac echo experience.
- Proficiency on all equipment in the lab
Required Licensure/Certifications
- RDMS certification Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS - AE) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
