We are seeking an experienced Treasury leader to join our dynamic Treasury team. In this role, you will play a key part directing and managing the global Treasury operations team across areas such as daily cash liquidity management, short term investment strategy, cash optimization, cash forecasting and repatriation. This position offers excellent exposure to strategic initiatives, senior leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with the ability to make a high impact on the organization.
A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $100,000 - $300,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.

We are seeking an experienced Treasury leader to join our dynamic Treasury team. In this role, you will play a key part directing and managing the global Treasury operations team across areas such as daily cash liquidity management, short term investment strategy, cash optimization, cash forecasting and repatriation. This position offers excellent exposure to strategic initiatives, senior leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with the ability to make a high impact on the organization.
Responsibilites
- Direct and manage global Treasury operations activities including cash positioning, funding needs, bank account structures, pooling structures, intercompany transactions, investments and cash forecasting
- Oversee day to day cash management liquidity for US, including borrowing decisions under revolving credit facility and AR securitization facility, and oversight of international liquidity (supported by cash management analysts)
- Build, lead, and coach a global best-in-class Treasury operations team
- Establish and supervise administration of intercompany loans
- Support management, reporting, and execution of debt and credit facilities
- Coordinate funding and settlement of M&A transactions. Lead treasury integration of acquired companies and separation of divested entities
- Optimize global cash management through partnership with senior leadership in Tax, Controllership, and Legal
- Effectively repatriate cash across Nielsen subsidiaries to meet funding requirements
- Maintain banking relationships with key partners and review the company’s banks and services, identifying cost saving opportunities and efficiencies
- Design and implement best practices for Treasury and AP processes, maintaining systems controls
- Support special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, science, or related field; MBA, similar advanced degree or CTP certification a plus
- 8+ years of experience in finance with prior global Treasury operations experience preferred, Treasury capital markets experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling
- Hands on experience using banking portals; Citidirect, HSBCnet, BOA CashPro a plus
- Ability to develop constructive relationships with executives and colleagues across the organization
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated work style, strong attention to detail, effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to organize and process multiple requests to ensure timely and accurate completion
- Resourceful self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Management experience; proven track record of developing and coaching employees
