Senior Director, Technical Product Management

Zelis Healthcare seeks a visionary, engaging, and results-oriented leader who seeks a role supporting a rapid growth tech-enabled healthcare company.  The Senior Director, Technical Product Management will work closely across the product management, operations, and technology teams to ensure execution and delivery of critical Price Optimization initiatives. 

This key role will collaborate with cross functional teams (product management, operations, technology teams, divisional counterparts) to optimize the experience for both internal and external end users, tailored by role and permissions, to ensure a seamless Zelis experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute the strategy for high-impact technical projects, which may include but are not limited to: implementing a comprehensive department-wide portal, establishing a unified data ingestion pathway for pricing, driving advanced automation within pricing processes, and enhancing the connectivity and functionality of cross-departmental platforms.

• Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams (product management, operations, and technology teams) to ensure execution and delivery to drive product vision and deliverables critical to Price Optimization initiatives. 

• Oversee the Technical Product Management delivering cross-product technology solutions specific to Price Optimization. These solutions will enhance the experience for Zelis’ stakeholders, including payers, providers, members, and associates.

• Oversee technical projects with multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring they encompass technical development, training, and implementation components.

• Direct large-scale platform and client migrations.

• Spearhead the development of APIs across the business.

• Oversee Agile product development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet market demands and customer requirements.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and align product goals with business objectives.

• Utilize data analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions, improve features, and optimized the user experience.

• Drive technology enablement initiatives, integrating new technologies and frameworks to enhance product capabilities and performance in healthcare and financial services.

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

• Release Management: Manage multiple product releases simultaneously, maintaining aggressive release schedules and ensuring timely delivery.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for executive presentations and stakeholder communications, utilizing advanced PowerPoint skills.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 10+ years overall technical experience which includes 5 years Project Leadership experience leading project support teams, ensuring effective coordination and execution.

• Healthcare

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Master of Business Administration and/or Engineering discipline

• Experience working with Offshore teams
