About the role

The Director of Oracle Solutions Architecture is a strategic technology leader responsible for driving the vision, design, and solution architecture of Oracle-based solutions, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM, and CX. This individual leads a team of senior architects and works closely with sales, delivery, and client leadership to shape transformative cloud strategies and solutions for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Oracle architecture strategy across cloud and on-premises platforms, ensuring alignment with client business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee the design and architectural integration of Oracle Cloud solutions (ERP, EPM, OCI, HCM, SCM, etc.) and ensure scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Partner with business development and sales teams to craft compelling solution architectures and technical proposals for key accounts and pursuits.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solution integrity during project execution and provide technical oversight for large-scale implementations.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Oracle solution architects and technical leads.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with Oracle product teams and partner alliances.
  • Stay current on Oracle's evolving roadmap, innovations, and industry trends to ensure competitive solutioning and thought leadership.

Business Development & Proposal/RFP Development

  • Support pre-sales efforts including solutioning, client presentations, and proposal responses for Oracle ERP/EPM/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure opportunities.
  • Lead development of proposals and RFP responses, including solution blueprints, resource estimates, and delivery methodologies for Oracle Technologies.
  • Craft value-driven narratives that demonstrate alignment to financial strategy, planning optimization, and integrated performance management.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Pricing, and Delivery on response compliance and accuracy.
  • Lead development of reusable assets, templates, and accelerators specific to Oracle Solution domains.

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-Suite, VP’s and IT leadership during digital transformation programs.
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and strategic workshops to drive adoption of Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM.
  • Translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle Cloud solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in Oracle enterprise architecture, with at least 10+ years focused on Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Proven leadership in Oracle Cloud implementations, including ERP Cloud, EPM Cloud, and OCI architecture.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration, data architecture, and security models within Oracle ecosystems.
  • Experience managing large technical teams and enterprise-scale programs ($10M+).
  • Exceptional communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle ERP Cloud Consultant) preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Oracle Cloud Certifications in ERP and/or EPM Architecture or Functional domains.
  • Deep familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI, Smart View, FBDI/ADFdi, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with performance optimization, reporting frameworks, and multi-entity/global rollouts.
  • Experience working in a consulting, system integrator, or professional services firm.
  • Background in managing global delivery teams and offshore collaboration.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Industry-specific experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to project delivery frameworks like Oracle Unified Method (OUM), Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
