What You’ll Do
As the Senior Director of Analytics, you will support the Ad Sales team by providing thought leadership and strategies to deliver analytics support for Ad Sales and to execute Ad campaigns on the YouTube platform for client brands with high brand relevance, consistency, and efficiency. Success in this role will require an experienced digital marketing analytics professional with a history of successfully utilizing data driven strategies on YouTube or similar platforms. Since Spotter is a data driven organization, the successful candidate needs to be comfortable leading an analytics team as well as being hands-on in analytics and data science. Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and analytics support to the Ad Sales team to achieve their sales goals
- Provide data driven strategies to support the Ad Ops team in setting up, managing, executing, and analyzing YouTube ad campaigns and budgets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep spend optimized while hitting strict ROI goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Ad Ops, Finance, Ad Sales, Marketing, and the Creator Community
- Analyze and report on the performance and impact of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights and best practices
- Leverage your analytics skills and operational expertise to drive and optimize planning and executing multiple ad campaigns
- Build various lookalike models to understand viewers of specific YouTube content and their brand affinities
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance capabilities around creating high-quality, comprehensive executive summaries and improve overall storytelling with effective presentations
- Research and monitor marketing trends and competitive landscape and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
- Continuously ideate, implement, and measure results of A/B testing for campaign targeting to optimize for conversions
- Perform regular tracking and analysis of campaign performance. Prepare and deliver performance reports identifying successes and opportunities for improvement
Who You Are

- BS in a data-related, technical/engineering, or quantitative fields; Masters preferred
- 8+ years of work experience in analytics or quantitative roles
- Have at least 1-2+ years of analytics experience in YouTube Ads campaign management with proven success
- Experience with data mining, and/or predictive modeling, and data interpretation
- Experience directly managing daily YouTube ads budgets of $250K+/day minimum
- Expert level proficiency in Excel, particularly pivo
