Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented (Sr Director AI Security) to join our (GenAI Security Team). This position is a hybrid role requiring in-office work as needed 2-3 days/week in either Palo Alto, CA or Stamford, CT. GenAI Safety, Security, and Privacy is important to all of us. At Protegrity our products make this possible for some of the largest companies in the world. Protegrity puts our customers in the best possible position to choose how they want to protect their GenAI and data estate. Thanks to the centralized management and transparency of our platform- a “single pane of glass”- teams can apply trustworthy and responsible GenAI everywhere data resides, understand purpose, and place trust in outcomes. We are currently investing in our GenAI Security platform and growing a high caliber team to lead the way for us. As a Senior Technical Leader in this role, you will own the AI security domain and drive the development of next-generation solutions focusing on AI governance, safety, security, and privacy frameworks. As a key contributor, you will lead efforts to research, design, and implement scalable technologies that set the industry standard for secure and compliant GenAI systems. You will play a central role in shaping our AI/ML strategy. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of domain experts and software engineers to deliver solutions that address critical market needs, enabling secure, trustworthy, and high-performing AI applications. Responsibilities:
- Lead cutting-edge research on securing Generative AI, NLP, and LLMs to tackle challenges in unstructured data processing emphasising safety guardrails and compliance.
- Conduct advanced AI/ML security research and experimentation to develop novel algorithms and scalable solutions for secure and compliant GenAI systems.
- Develop and optimise models, tools and methodologies to detect and mitigate risks, including bias, toxicity, and hallucination in LLMs.
- Architect and deploy robust frameworks to govern AI systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
- Build end-to-end pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment of GenAI systems, with a focus on operational excellence.
- Incorporate state-of-the-art safety measures, including adversarial testing, bias mitigation, and secure access controls.
- Serve as evangelist by publishing white papers, contributing to industry forums, and advising stakeholders on emerging GenAI trends.
- Lead collaborations with researchers, engineers, and product teams to integrate state-of-the-art AI models into enterprise-grade product solutions.
- Provide thought leadership in AI governance and security, mentoring cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
