Our client is seeking a Senior Development Manager with 7–10 years of combined software development and management experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader who can architect modern web applications while leading and mentoring a distributed team. You’ll balance hands-on technical work with team leadership, collaborating with product and engineering leadership to drive innovation and deliver high-quality projects.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a distributed team of developers, providing mentorship and performance management
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to plan and execute projects
Oversee development processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and best practices
Support team growth, hiring, and career development
Provide technical guidance and contribute to software architecture decisions
Foster a positive, productive team culture across locations
Requirements
Proven experience managing distributed developer teams, preferably with team members in the Philippines
Strong technical background in software development
7–10 years of combined development and management experience
Experience architecting and building modern web applications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team management
