Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a Microsoft Windows Server/Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and related virtualized data centers to meet the security, application, and business requirements
- Design and manage server backup systems to meet data backup and retention policies
- Configure and maintain email policies, rules, and mailboxes in Office 365
- Monitor Windows and datacenter infrastructure performance and troubleshoot related issues
- Participate in data center Disaster Recovery design and implementation
- Provide technical recommendations to management and provide technical advice and solutions to cross-functional teams
- Document technical procedures and system infrastructure designs
- Collaborate with vendors on projects during implementation and problem resolution
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
- Must have a minimum of one Microsoft certificate of MCSE, MCSA, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Azure Administrator Associate
- Minimum of five years of experience in designing, installing, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure and Windows services in a virtualized datacenter and physical servers
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory Roles and Services including Domain Controllers, AD Sites, Forest trusts, PKI Certificate services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Print and File services, DFS namespace and replication, WSUS patch deployment, and NTFS and Share permissions
- Must have basic knowledge of IP subnetting and virtual networks
- Experience with monitoring and management tools for HP servers, network performance, and Windows
- Proficient with Visio, and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently or without direct supervision.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects frequently with conflicting deadlines.
- Strong problem solving, critical analysis, written and verbal communication skills.
