Title: Senior Data Architect  

The Work  

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect with deep expertise in  Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL and MariaDB databa se systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing database architectures that support high-performance applications, data warehousing, and analytics platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

What You Will Do: 

• Design and develop scalable and robust data architecture solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL and MariaDB. 

• Define and maintain data models, data flows, and database schemas across multiple platforms. 

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and data analysts to integrate and optimize database performance and reliability. 

• Perform data migrations between Oracle, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB environments. 

• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. 

• Create and maintain documentation of data architecture, data dictionaries, and standards. 

• Monitor and tune databases to ensure high availability and optimal performance. 

• Conduct code and design reviews for database changes and new feature implementations. 

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools to improve data management and analytics. 

 

What You Will Bring With You:  

• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. 

• Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years and be a US Citizen 

• Candidate must be able to pass successful Public Trust background check 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or related technology field 

• Required Certifications: MS Azure 

• 5 or more years of experience in data architect roles with data migration & cleansing and development with hands-on experience in Oracle, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB. 

• 5 or more years' experience with prominent cloud, service-oriented, platform-based application technologies with design and system development accomplishments.
