In this high-impact role, you will lead initiatives that connect immediate data quality needs with long-term system improvements. You’ll combine analytical skill, technical understanding, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure ZoomInfo’s company data is accurate, comprehensive, and strategically aligned.

As a trusted partner to Engineering, Product, and Data Leadership, you will actively participate in design discussions, ensuring that data quality and customer impact are central to system improvements and long-term planning.

Who You Are

  • Data Systems Expert: You understand the structure, flow, and dependencies of company data, and can translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations
  • Strategic Thinker: You anticipate future data needs and design solutions that balance short-term improvements with long-term capability
  • Collaborative Partner: You maintain strong relationships across Product, Engineering, and other analysts, helping guide prioritization, design decisions, and validation strategies
  • Analytical Investigator: You leverage data and research to identify opportunities, validate solutions, and ensure decisions are grounded in evidence
  • Team-Oriented Influencer: You elevate team capability through mentorship, collaboration, and a bias for action, ensuring complex initiatives succeed collectively

What You’ll Do

  • Develop deep expertise in company data systems and profiling tools by reviewing existing documentation, analyzing workflows, and engaging with stakeholders
  • Create clear, authoritative documentation, system maps, and onboarding guides that capture dependencies, design rationale, and technical feasibility
  • Lead the planning and execution of major system transitions, including defining success metrics, validation strategies, testing approaches, resource needs, and coordination with Product and Engineering
  • Ensure profiler outputs meet or exceed current quality standards by guiding cross-functional validation efforts
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define profiler requirements that balance customer workflows, competitive considerations, and feasibility constraints
  • Translate insights from data quality initiatives, project work, and new sources into actionable, system-level improvement priorities
  • Establish frameworks for evaluating tradeoffs between technical complexity, feasibility, and customer impact when designing or improving processes
  • Partner with fellow analysts and cross-functional teams to identify systemic opportunities and guide prioritization decisions
  • Conduct thorough impact analyses and validation studies, including hands-on verification of data quality and system outputs
  • Capture and share lessons learned, creating reusable documentation that supports knowledge retention and team onboarding
  • Drive continuous improvement in profiling capabilities, efficiency, quality, and coverage, and contribute technical insights that inform product strategy

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in data analytics or a similar discipline
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-quarter, cross-functional data projects with measurable impact
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with hands-on experience analyzing large, complex datasets
  • Experience with company data, web data acquisition, or data quality initiatives
  • Experience designing or contributing to data systems, pipelines, or profiler architectures, including tradeoff analysis and technical feasibility considerations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to investigate complex data issues and identify effective, scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, and leadership
  • Demonstrated ownership and independence: drives high-impact initiatives forward while keeping teams aligned and informed
  • Experience producing reusable documentation, system maps, and onboarding guides that build team knowledge and capability
