As the Road & Bridge Senior Administrative Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in keeping our division running smoothly by providing high-level administrative, operational, and customer service support. In this dynamic role, you'll coordinate accounting, payroll, purchasing, and budget-related activities while serving as a trusted resource for staff, leadership, and the public. You'll manage complex customer inquiries, resolve escalated issues, maintain records, prepare reports and correspondence, and support daily office operations. You'll also lead or assist with special administrative, technical, and confidential projects, collaborate across County departments, and help train and mentor team members on established policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing a variety of responsibilities. You are highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to seamlessly shift between competing priorities while building positive relationships with colleagues, leadership, and the community we serve.
SCHEDULE:
This position typically operates on a 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm) working on-site from our Road & Bridge Central Shop location (21401 Golden Gate Canyon Road, Golden, CO 80403).
COMPENSATION:
Hiring Range: $27.32 - $32.79 USD Hourly
Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills.
