Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with technical expertise, strong business analysis, and customer engagement skills in support of a vital national security mission. You will help design cloud architecture, hybrid solutions, and application support for customer requirements and make recommendations based on both business analysis and technical acumen.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide systems engineering, orchestration, and administrative support for multiple AWS Cloud environment
- Deploy Enterprise Services throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, deploying and upgrading virtual machines, and providing O&M and troubleshooting support
- Lead large technical initiatives and coordinate closely with development teams and project management
- Design and engineer software deployment services from a centralized software repository to virtual desktops in the cloud
- Utilize Agile Scrum frameworks and methodologies in daily execution
- Assist the Project Manager in advising level of complexity and effort of technical implementation details
- Interface with a customer executing a large program with thousands of users and a rapidly growing userbase, supporting multiple vendors, government, and military personnel that require various communication and collaboration mechanisms to meet mission objectives
Here's what you need:
- 5+ years experience engineering and administrating IT systems hosted within AWS, Azure, or GCP
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux or Windows Operating Systems
- Able to demonstrate the ability to develop a cloud architecture with various solutions to address computing, storage solutions, security measures, networking, and automation capabilities
- Minimum 1 year experience working with Orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Terraform
- Demonstrated experience in deploying Infrastructure as Code within a cloud environment
- Must have an IAT Level II Certification
Bonus points if you have:
- Ability to balance multiple projects and be able to prioritize work to meet customer's needs
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading integrated project teams
- 3+ years of cloud architecture experience
- 1+ years of experience working in a DevSecOps project environment
- Professional Level Certification in AWS (Solutions Architect, SysOps, Developer, or DevOps)
- IAT Level III or IASAE II Certification
- Desire to learn new technologies and tools and willing to share your experience with the team
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Security Clearance:
- An active Secret clearance is required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $105,200 - $168,400
Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500
New York City: $121,700 - $168,400
Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
