Senior Business Process Consultant

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Business Process Consultant to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. 

 

This position is located on-site in Tallahassee, FL. 

 

The position will report to The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS or Department).

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

• Prepare deliverables identified by the FDACS Functional Manager, within the timeframe specified by the Contract Manager(s).
• Comply with OATS Administrative Policies and Procedures by working directly with the Department’s Contract Manager throughout the PO term.
• Prepare ISDM or SDF documentation that indicates the project complies with OATS policies and procedures. Apprise OATS staff on ISDM or SDF information as directed by the Department’s Contract Manager.
• Communicate relevant information to project teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Facilitate meetings throughout the term of the PO
• Address project team conflict and communication problems proactively.
• Review required documentation evidencing the deliverable for completeness and correctness before submitting to the Project Team and Stakeholders.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters degree and 6 years of experience or a High School diploma and 12 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Must have experience in DevOps and Dynamics 365
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff at various levels
• 7 years of experience in business analysis o IT projects
• Must have experience in the use of Microsoft Visio for creating the process model diagrams.
• Experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience creating test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good verbal/communication skills.
• Good writing skills.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Experiences in working with IT technical staff to determine the infrastructure components within which any potential solution or modification would need to be able to operate.
• Skills and experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups of people to discuss business processes.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
