Senior Business Development Manager, Data Licensing

As Reddit continues to evolve, we're hiring a Senior Data Licensing Manager to drive our new business venture focused on data licensing. As the Senior Data Licensing Manager, you will spearhead the creation and execution of a data licensing strategy, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Your ability to drive a business from conception to successful operation will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead Reddit's data licensing business, building relationships with key partners across various industries. 
• Cultivate and expand relationships with diverse partners to encourage data licensing and the adoption of Reddit's offerings. 
• Develop, negotiate, and execute data licensing partnerships that drive value for Reddit. 
• Draft, negotiate, and implement legal agreements with key partners, including MSAs, amendments, and renewals. 
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, privacy, finance, and tax, to ensure holistic deal completion.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in partnerships and/or strategic business development, primarily within the data licensing industry. 
• Comprehensive experience driving multiple deals from start to finish: strategy development, partner identification, negotiation of terms/legal agreements, partner onboarding/integration, and post-deal amendments/renewals. 
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments within the company. 
• High emotional IQ, adept at managing both internal and external stakeholder priorities and conflicts. 
• Action-oriented, adaptable, and effective in complex and ambiguous environments. 
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and results-driven performance.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:$198,200—$297,300 USD
