About the role

Position Overview

Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Sr. Business Analyst – Corporate / Human Resource Applications - to support the IT Product Manager in Whippany, NJ. This role requires hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud implementation, support and data modeling skills.  The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, documenting, and refining functional requirements as well as assisting in the design of technical solutions; supporting development efforts, all while delivering enhanced business processes / applications. The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for developing a deep knowledge of supported business areas, IT applications, and enterprise integrations. This role will conduct functional requirement and solutioning sessions, document current and future-state systems flows, and create detailed functional and technical documentation and user stories to support the development team. The Sr. Business Analyst will also closely partner with business SMEs, architects and development teams to support the documenting of technical specifications and QA testing. With deep knowledge of the applications and integrations, the Sr. Business Analyst will be able to develop viable technical solutions to complex business requests and ensure that the business and technical teams are both aligned on the solutions. 

  • Hands-on with Oracle HCM implementation, data modeling, and HR product architecture design
  • Assist with Oracle HCM quarterly feature releases and business test coordination / Partner with business to select and implement quarterly Oracle HCM features
  • Create prototypes, documentation (functional & technical), and perform testing & production migration
  • Design and maintain inbound/outbound interface documentation for third-party vendors like: like UHC, Metlife, Empower, Equifax
  • Maintain existing Success Factors integration documentation, and coordinate with technical teams regarding updates and changes.
  • Emphasis on data exchange standards, data privacy, and real-time or scheduled sync
  • Develop more complex OTBI reports for business teams
  • Support decision-making and HR analytics initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between: HR Business Teams / Internal IT & Development Teams / External Vendors
  • Document and redefine current vs. future state processes
  • Ensured that new functionality aligns with evolving business needs
  • Design future-state solutions with an emphasis on strategic business alignment

Key Accountabilities

  • Partnering closely with the product and technical teams, develop detailed user stories, functional requirements and technical specification documentation and ensuring there is alignment between all teams on the solution.
  • Coordinate major incident and problem management, ensuring all steps during a production issue are being executed and addressed. Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
  • Manage scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements can be met within existing project budgets and timeframes. Assisting Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in the development of detailed project plans and work assignments.  Monitor progress to ensure project deliverables are met. Track progress to plan. Communicate status to project team members and management
  • Assist in the ongoing review and maintenance of technical support documentation to reflect newly discovered issues or improvements in the relevant systems.
  • Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current enterprise application architecture and integrations.
  • Setup configuration and make updates to relevant systems and applications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or substantiated equivalent business experience 
  • 5-8 years of Oracle Cloud HCM / Kronos Workforce Dimensions or similar experience implementing and supporting core HR applications such as: HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance – along with experience with other HR modules as well, e.g. Recruiting, Talent Management, Training, etc.
  • Hands on experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of HR Cloud applications.
  • Expertise in business process analysis and redesign, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign and implementation
