What You’ll Be Doing:

Amogy is seeking a Senior Business Analysis Advisor to join our Strategy and Business Development team. Working at the intersection of corporate strategy, business development, economic analysis, and emerging energy technologies, this position plays a key role in advising commercial opportunity identification and strategic development for a leading startup in the clean tech space.

• Develop materials for investors that effectively communicate our market insights, value proposition, and growth potential.
• Identify and evaluate business development and partnership opportunities across ammonia value chains.
• Generate tailored presentation and proposal materials for key clients and partners to secure commercial agreements.
• Translate understanding of technology, economics, and emerging markets into strategic recommendations for product and business development organizations.
• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to analyze product-market fit and ensure alignment with company strategy.
• Evaluate competitive technologies, value chains, and business models to identify new opportunities and inform Amogy’s offering.

Requirements

The minimum requirements we seek:

• 6-10 years of experience in consulting, finance, or energy/hardware startups. Experience in client facing roles is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related fields (MBA or CFA is an advantage).
• Experience in power generation, transportation, or maritime sector is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to convey complicated commercial and technical concepts in an easily comprehensible manner.
• Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit with high tolerance for ambiguity. Experience working in a fast-growing environment is preferred.

The salary pay range for this position is $114,000 - $153,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in New York City. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
