We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Budget Analyst to join the team at LAFB. You will have extensive experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management, with a focus on supporting space programs. This role requires exceptional analytical and technical skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex financial systems and tools. Secret Clearance
WORKSITE: Los Angeless Air Force Base
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
COMPENSATION: $61.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provide expert-level financial analysis and budget management in support of DoD initiatives.
- Develop and manage budgets for space-related programs, with a focus on AFSPC or SSC assignments.
- Utilize financial management tools and systems, including FM Suite, WAWF, and CCAR, to perform accurate budget tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with DoD regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives and program goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Education:
- Master's degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
- Candidates without a Master's degree must have an additional 4 years of relevant experience.

Experience:
- 10+ years of directly applicable experience in DoD Financial Management.
- 8+ years of experience with duties or assignments specifically supporting space programs (AFSPC or SSC experience preferred).
- 5+ years of experience with CCAR (Commander's Comprehensive Assessment Reporting).
- 3+ years of experience with FM Suite and WAWF (Wide Area Workflow).
- 5+ years of experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of DoD financial regulations and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software tools and MS Office applications.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
