Senior Benefits Specialist

As a member of the Benefits organization, your focus is to support U.S. employees and their families by answering benefits related inquiries. This involves answering inquiries and escalations to the Oracle Benefits Portal via email and telephone on a broad array of benefit plans, eligibility, and enrollment systems. The Oracle Benefits team takes pride in providing personalized service to the large U.S. population of about 70,000 employees and their families.
The Senior Benefits Specialist spends the majority of their time answering benefits inquiries from employees via written email. You will also have phone/zoom conversations with employees regarding benefits questions, if needed. Other responsibilities can include:
- day to day administration activities such as providing data and reports to payroll, finance and outside vendors
- managing projects
- assisting with implementation of new programs
- leading or assisting in informational webinars such as new hire orientation and program overviews

- Has knowledge of benefits programs; for example, medical/vision/dental plans, 401(k), Affordable Care Act Reform, ERISA, ADA, Workplace accommodations, FMLA and disability programs

- Will work with confidential employee medical information, therefore HIPAA guidelines must be adhered to

- Demonstrates proficiency with e-mail, Word, Excel, Internet and the ability to learn other systems
Experience and Education:
- Required: Three to five years of benefits experience - employee facing and administration
- Advanced knowledge of excel
- Experience in Benefits reports; such as, enrollment data, payroll reporting, and
compliance reporting preferred
- Skilled at explaining and presenting benefits information one on one to individuals, in live presentations and webinars to employees
- B.A. or B.S. - Human Resources or equivalent experience

US: Hiring Range: from $27.02 to $54.13 per hour; from $56,200 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
