Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM MNL (30-minute unpaid break)Total Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours
Our client is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with strong Python and Django expertise. This role involves developing robust, scalable backend services and APIs, working with AWS services, databases, caching, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and efficient code. Senior-level experience and exposure to high-availability systems are a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and improve backend services and APIs using Python and Django
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
Work with AWS services (SES, SNS, Lambda, etc.) to support backend operations
Ensure code quality, security, and scalability
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance
Requirements
Strong experience with Python and Django frameworks
Familiarity with AWS services and their integration with backend systems
Solid understanding of RESTful API design
Experience with databases, caching, and related backend technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a senior-level engineer role
Experience with scalable, high-availability systems
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment
